This is actually a great idea. I don't love that it's web-based, and it's a bit clunky and sluggish, but the idea of collapsing the stream down into friends and followers is a great one.
Turbonerd is the personal site of Chris Nunciato, some dude who lives in Seattle and writes code for the excellent Rhapsody.
It (this site) is still very much under construction, but making little bits of progress daily weekly-ish.
